Lesley has over 35 years’ experience in the Foodservice Industry where she began as a food broker for her family business. The business was sold to Osage Marketing where she was employed for over 10 years. She then moved on as a Regional/Multi chain representative for Sara Lee, Tyson and ConAgra Foods. Eventually became a national account rep calling on accounts such as Burger King, Wendys and Hardees. Lesley started Local Source Marketing in 2012, which represented local farmers and products for the grocery & restaurant industry.
She was a Board member for Johnny Boy Foundation for 5 years prior to taking on the role as Executive Director in 2024. Passion for the hospitality industry, she is a member of the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association as well as a board member for the American Culinary Federation/KC Chapter. As well as an Active Member in the Hotel & Lodging Association of Kansas City.
